I'm scheduled for Right THR October 8, 2018. I had Left THR April 27, 2015.
I had a good recovery in 2015, and forget I have a new left hip. I was disappointed that my right hip deteriorated so quickly. I've been doing PT & Burdenko pool exercises that keep me walking for the past couple of months. I was happy to be able to schedule the surgery for October. I'm counting on a mild Fall on Cape Cod and hoping to head South at the beginning of the new year for a good recovery. My best to all my fellow October Feistys! This forum was so helpful and I look forward to hearing from you all. The support here is the best!

Hello, I am back!
I am having my left hip replaced on the 22nd, almost one year after I had my right hip done. My original doctor retired, so I found a new one. Not quite the one I wanted, but that one did not have an opening until January 2019. I am not willing to wait that long to be pain free.

I'm having my LTHR October 9th, had my RTH 2-26-18!! This can't happen soon enough!
