I am have my third Total Knee Replacement on July 16th. I had my right knee replaced three years ago and my left knee replaced six months ago, January. My right knee is loose as shown by a bone scan. Wish me luck. Has anyone else had to have a replacement revision?

Third TKR, July 16th

July 23 RTKR - my second. I'm 6 months out from my LTKR and not entirely happy with it - still very stiff, some swollen, numb on the outside, fair bit of trouble with stairs - lots of hamstring and back of knee pain. Still, decided to go ahead with the other one. Hope I won't regret it in 6 months. Keeping my fingers crossed that since the right is my stronger leg and I won't have a nerve block (lots of problem previously with numb quadriceps and failure of muscles to engage), this one will be easier. NOT looking forward to it, but I think I can endure this again....

@bottomshollow - Please will you remove Sportsnutt from the July list? (July 23). Her TKR was brought forward to June 21st and I have posted that in the June Sunbeams.

On average how long are you on pain meds? I realize could be different with everyone but not sure if it will take me longer than everyone else or what? I am currently taking 1 percoset every 4 hours except at night I take 2. I'd like to be off all together but can't do that yet. How much longer?
Thanks
