Me, me, me! Mine was scheduled on Apr 28, but now it is May 31. The very last day of May.

Any delay, and I'll be the transition patient between May and June!

I'm having both of my hips done on May 10th. I'll try to post as much as I can about my experience. I'm here now trying to read threads about what to expect. Good luck to you!

Hello everyone. My name is James. I'm 43 years old and having a right hip replacement on May 11 (a week to go and counting). I had Perthes disease at a child and the hip can go on no longer. I'm looking forward to reading about other people's recoveries to help to spur me on and back to playing sport again (hopefully pain free).

Had my anterior hip surgery yesterday morning and am home registering now. Surgery went great and now onto PT and recovery.

My op is the 25th. I had a skiing accident and had my hip pinned in hospital in France. But it has gone wrong and now it has to be totally taken out and a replacement done. I am fed up

Looks like the first one will be May 19, LTHR anterior. Diagnosed two years ago, severe bilateral OA, much deterioration and chronic pain during the past 8 mos. Time for it to go!
