@sandbar525, we love the good news of a great recovery and return to the world of "normal". Stories like yours are an inspiration to those waiting for their surgery or who have just started the recovery process. It is also gratifying to have the BoneSmart philosophy of recovery supported and praised by someone whose been there, done that, and got the tee shirt!
To any pre-op Bonesmarties that might be reading this thread, you have my very best wishes for a successful surgery and an uneventful recovery! Read as many of the postings on this forum as possible and follow the mantras as outlined and you will do great. This forum was my best friend (before, during and after surgery). The support you receive from all of your fellow Bonesmarties is invaluable. I'll come back and report in at 3 months. Until then, stay calm and follow the mantras!
