@newlybionic , I think I probably inadvertently answered your question on
@Mireille 's thread
I'm actually doing OK. A little backslide from last Thursday/Friday, but hey....it happens. Swelling/stiffness is up, and I've had some of the 'achy' type pain at night. But I also did more Thursday and Friday than I have since pre-TKR days.....SOOOOOOOOO, I look at it as ' I EARNED this pain and swelling!' LOL
Had some normalcy this weekend - went to see the new Keanu Reeves movie - since both hubby and myself are currently semi-crippled, seeing a mindless action flick seemed like the thing to do. It certainly lived up to it's genre! Although I've never seen such a variety of weapons, variety of uses, and an equal variety of deaths - all in one film!

Talk about diversity! I was proud, however....I used to look at all the teens in movies and scowl at how they put their feet up on the backs of seats or metal railings. Well, I humbled myself and put their idea to good medical use! I had an ice pack on my knee, and elevated it on the metal railing in front of my seat. Toes above nose! I may have looked trashy, but I sure did save myself some later consequences!

Ha! And we even went out for dinner afterwards! I'll trade a little normalcy for some later swelling (all of a sudden I have wimpy in my head "I'll pay you tomorrow for a hamburger today")
I don't usually use the computer, so often do not see the signature lines. Am I reading correctly that you are gearing up for a brand spankin' new Right knee???????
As for the pics, those were definitely taken in the summer - even here, it's a wee bit chilly for shorts. But we get a LOT of snowbirds here from the north - Salt Lake City, Oregon, Wyoming, Idaho. I'm forever astounded at how many people have a 'winter' home in St George! Here in Springdale, we are a little higher - so we get a decent amount of snow on the mountains, and some here at the house - but it's usually melted within 1-3 days. I give props to anyone who can live in the cold - I'd be huddled next to the fire for the ENTIRE winter!
