Twelve weeks out today!
Knee is still prone to hotting up and needs rest and ice after I've had an active day, but generally is brilliant compared with before surgery. Still very stiff in the mornings and wakes me at times, but generally sleeping reasonably well.
Rom has improved massively-the less I pushed it the better it got on its own, somehow. Just doing normal things seemed to make it more normal.
I can now walk with only a very slight limp, I can whizz upstairs and almost go down normally. I can, amazingly, walk on tiptoes, not done that for years. I don't have to look for seats when out shopping, I can keep up with friends when walking in the park, and today I got on my pony and jumped some (very small) fences ! I am very pleased and will be going back to work on Wednesday, after seeing the OS.
I need the other one doing at some point and it will be difficult to know when, but for now all is well.
