when do you give up and surrender?

I am wondering if anyone has advice for someone who lives alone. Will I need someone to stay with me. If so for how long? Also any things that you found you couldn't live without?

When you first go to the knee replacement pre-op threads (where we are now) you will see threads at the top of the page like the September Sapphires and the October Fiesties and such. Those are the sticky threads, so called because they stick to the top. Down here where we mere mortals post are the normal threads, and we sink down pretty rapidly as more recently updated threads appear at the top. Do you see the Home Alone thread now?
