@jebrig3164 my pain is under control now, got a little crazy last night but we figured things out so now all is good :) Today I'm just taking it easy, my blood pressure is a bit low so can't really do much walking without getting dizzy, so like you, just taking it slow...

As we always say here - every THR is different. Getting that pain control cocktail right before you leave the hospital is the priority now. Glad you are doing well!

That is great I'm good now . Glad to know

Congratulations on your 2nd new hip. Take it easy and feel better very soon. You know what to do- you've done it before so you're an expert. Wishing you well, Gill

I feel you. Wish I had pictures of mine. Your new hips look beautiful!! Hope you are doing well. I'm a week out and can really feel a difference.

Congrats on your new hips! I will be there soon at Emory... just a few days!

Wow, what a difference (between the old and the new)! One of the new hip joints looks bigger than the other...is that just an illusion (i.e. one side was closer to the x-ray beam?)

Well today I will be going home from the hospital. I will have a nurse to come three days a week for the next four weeks. I'm ready to go home and get this healing process started. Been doing a quite bit of walking. .

@jebrig3164! I felt better the minute I walked in my sliding glass door. Home is just so much more comfy than any hospital. You aren't confined to one room and the hallway. You can get a snack when you want to, take an uninterrupted nap, play loud music, sit in a really comfy chair and sleep in a really comfy bed.

Take care of yourself and keep us posted. We care (and we're a bit nosy, too :heehee:).

I will keep you all posted

Glad you get to go home!
Rest up, and take things slowly. You will do just fine.

Good for you, Jeff! Sounds like you're off and running... Just remember the sacred mantra & you'll continue to do fine. Home... Nothing like it!
