good luck with your root canal. I've had a 5 and they weren't nearly as bad as I thought they would be or as others had said. And they will give you a prescription for pain meds. I think all I ever got was Tylenol with codeine, but that was fine.

I have a pin from the first root canal I had, it says "Happiness is a Root Canal". The pain I had been sufferring with for years was gone that evening. Hope yours goes as well.

Sorry I didn't post last night I was really upset. The tooth is really bad and he couldn't finish it yesterday. I was in the chair for three hours and still only half done. Its tender but ok I guess. What a mess. I rest today. Next week he has off. I have a appointment on Valentine day. I do want it sooner. I don't think I will get into trouble. It hurts a little tonight. I will be ok, I think. It has been bad for over two years. I just didn't feel it. Tashia Josephine Its ok?

Last 2 root canals I had, they left one open, and the second one was packed with an alkaline substance to kill the bacteria. Frustraing experience. The infection should be gone by the 14th, and the tooth ready finished by the Root Canal specialist.

Oh Tashi, you poor thing. You are braver than I could ever be. I was 'offered' RC twice in my life and both times opted for an extraction!

Thanks guys, I am feeling better than yesterday. Felt very tired this morning but feel better this evening. Wish the tooth was done but I really couldn't think of sitting in the chair the next day. It really took a lot out of me. I am getting ready for Valentine. Oh Wouldn't be neat to have a dog for valentine day? But we have to see. I have to get my health back from the tooth. I get so tired of having to deal with my health. My knees are getting better! This has been a ruff winter so the joints aren't the happiest but hay its better than being in the horrible pain before they were done. I am starting to feel more postive than before. This weekend there is a horrible storm so please be careful and stay safe and warm. Take care Tashia

Today I think we are getting ready for rain. My tooth is a little sore. I hope nothing is wrong. I sure sleep good. Trying to get energy so I can finish my decorating. Yesterday I got to go and have a ride. It still feels so freeing. I always loved driving so having it back feels so great. I love just driving around and seeing whats out there, Maybe a dog? or Cat? I'm glad to hear that your spirits are lifting! I hope your tooth calms down and the soreness goes away soon!
Driving is so liberating! I can just see you being on a drive one day and on an impulse stopping somewhere to pick up a furry little friend to bring home with you. You won't be able to resist it for ever!

Had a very ruff night because my tooth would sometime give me a sharp pain. Also my hip really hurt this morning so I really got scared. My Dentist called and has put me on antiboitic so I should be better. The swelling on the tooth has really gone done so thats good. I think I had a major Anxiety attach this morning and that was the sweating. I sure hope so. Now all the knees and hip feel better. So I am not doing much today but taking a easy. Everyone stay safe.

Jacky48 Had a nap and feeling a little better. I don't know why I feel down. My mouth doesn't feel the best. I am just down.. I didn't get to sewing so maybe that its. I am staying home during the day. I am just too tired. Deep down I wish I was better along with the knee and pain. I know it hasn't been a year yet but I am getting scared that it isn't going to happen. I know my tooth is no doubt bothing me. I need to get out of town and get difference surounding. I guess I have cabin fever. We do have a quilt show coming up. I don't have a quilt for the show again. I guess I going have to take all this and put in my "God Garden". For those who have never head of this. It is writing all the problems on a paper and put them in a jar. Then dig a hole and put the jar in the hole and burying it.. I call it giving to God.
