I could not find my original thread so I am starting a new one.
I scurried up your old thread and merged it with this one so now you have all your post-op posts!
But I feel like both knees are totally not a part of my legs. when will my knees feel normal instead of this alien feeling? The worst is a night - they just do not feel right to me.
Well, you're only 19 weeks out on your second knee which, while it's no longer a 'baby' as such, is still fairly early. Maybe you are over-using them? What is your activity like on a daily basis? And are you taking some kind of pain meds (OTC type) for the tightness because that's just another manifestation of pain - low grade pain but pain none-the-less.

I am up and doing all of my own housework now, driving some, volunteering at the Artisan Center, house sitting for a neighbor, etc. I do rest a lot during the day and there is no swelling...I take only IB prophin but do not seem to have any major pain. I guess I could be overdoing some but I see things and have to do them..lol...I am just so ready to get on with my life. Any advice is certainly appreciated.

All of you have been very helpful and I appreciate it so much. Now I have a new problem....I have a sharp, piercing pain under my knee cap. I can hardly walk with it. No pain while sitting of laying, only when I try to walk. I am hoping it is only from over using it but thought that I would ask if anyone else had experience this? Thanks for any help or info.
