Hi Layla. So as an update, i think overall im doing well. Im back at gym and swimming again without too much discimfort afterwards. Saw Physio on monday who is really pleased with the new knee. Flexion 127 but extension only 2 and still struggling with that but working on it. However, walking any distance is atill hard and causes huge fatigue in my legs and pain in my back but they are putting this diwn to the length of time i was out of action pre op and potentially the left hip (the oldest one - 17yrs old). The bham hip itself is still sound but the repair never held from the first time i stood on it and thus i have always walked with a treadalenburg gait. They are making enquiries as to a relatively new pricedure where they repair the glute med to regain stability of the pelvis. Do you know anything about this or has anyone had experience? Once again thankyou for this group, its a huge support

Bruising, pain around the ankle and foot, and difficulty placing the foot on the floor can be a concern. What is your current situation?
