THR Seeing the Light!

Thanks, @Layla . finally they responded...but I am sort of ‘over’ the ‘not being really helpful’ attitude.

This may be too personal...but I am going to share here. (Sorry in advance)
I have been helping people my whole life. In a big way.
Now...I feel like I need help and I am not always getting it.
That is killing me. Can you tell I am blue today?

This isn’t anything that anyone can really respond to. If you guys @Layla @Mojo333 want to delete it, you can.

Aww, I'm so sorry. :console2:
Being in pain, bored, not having effective pain control and trying to fight for it all while your life is on hold is depressing. You'd be a rarity if it didn't get you down. But, it's only temporary. Thankfully! And you will get through it.

Sadly we can't always count on others, people will let us down. Obviously you understand this but when you're an empathetic and sympathetic person, it's difficult to understand why everyone else isn't also.
You're in a weakend state right now, physically and emotionally, I'm sure your emotions feel heightened and everything "feels" more amplified. You know you'll find a lot of love, care, concern and sympathy here. Along with support, encouragement and cheer. We get it. We're either there right along with you, or have been there. So lean on us, sista, we'll carry you through. You can count on us. That's a promise!
Big hugs and love coming at you:loveshwr:Dare ya to try and wear us out :heehee:
@lovesstars

Aw @lovesstars sending you a big hug, wish I could send you some tramadol!!! You moan away lovey, you know there is always someone listening who is on your side totally. I hope you get some pain relief soon xx

Thank you @Bevlah , @Layla and @1stSurgery .
I’ll get through this. I know.
I just have to try to get over feeling an inch tall.

@lovesstars, I wish I could send you my tramadol too! Instead I send a hug and, I am wishing from my heart that this crappy situation you are in will turn the corner soon. My mother use to tell me, “this too shall pass” but she never went through what you are. The bonesmarties you have cheered up and inspired are wishing fervently for this to pass. Hang in there.

Thanks, all.
Tonight I got taken to dinner!

Also...super weird, @Layla, but after the whole discussion with doc last Saturday about how I couldn’t have two tramadol my new prescription says “1 or 2 every 4-6 hours as needed”. Ge’ez!!! Make up your mind, guys!!!

Great news! On both counts.
Your OS came through and you got out, Alice!!! Yay! :happydance:
One pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small.
And the ones that mother gives you, don't do anything at all.
Go ask Alice, when she's ten feet tall, Hahaha! I'll bet you're not feeling 10 ft tall (yet) but hopefully after a nice dinner out you're feeling more than one inch tall, like you felt earlier.

Just a little levity....and a return to Woodstock, hahaha!
Didn't go but I'm sure it would have been an experience.
Hope you're feeling better tonight!
@lovesstars

That's wonderful, @lovesstars! To be treated to a dinner out is a much needed respite after all the at home time wrapped in ice.
I just told you in another thread earlier that your outings were coming right up! So glad you could go, it can make such a difference in mood. Hope it was something yummy!

@lovesstars So glad you got the tramadol. I don't get why they make such a fuss, and then the Rx says what is says! Wonderful that you got out for dinner. Hope it was yummy!

:ok: so glad they got your medication sorted.
It can seem like forever...but not even two months yet.
I look back on my recovery time and honestly now...don't regret the reprieve I had to give myself to heal.
Keep the faith...and have a good day today!

Hi! I was up early doing paperwork. Then ordered me some paper white narcissus bulbs for forcing (I have done this for decades...I LOVE TO GROW THINGS WHEN IT IS WHITE AND WINTRY OUTSIDE).

My mood is improved. The hope of narcissus always makes me happy.

Glue Sniffing? Joking.. Glad you got the Tramadol but what a fuss they made giving it to you.

I'm so happy that your doctor came through. I agree though, what's up with the negative attitude towards it from them????

Just remember, this is a Journey that you're already on and you have successfully traversed many of the big hills!

Never let 'em get you down!!
Kim

I LOVE TO GROW THINGS WHEN IT IS WHITE AND WINTRY OUTSI
Me too!! I have never done the paper whites, I do tomatoes and herbs, and what ever else I think I can keep alive in my attached greenhouse. I think I’ll try those paper whites this year. There is just something wonderful about blooming plants in the winter. I have someone who is going to help me transplant the tomato seedlings into pots and get the lights set up. I can’t lift the soil bags yet. I’m extremely dangerous to get talking about plants, I usually get a major eye roll from my family, they hate hiking with me, as I end up in my knees looking at plants before we even get out of the parking lot. I am a botanist by trade, so I tend to annoy everyone!

May all your weeds be wildflowers!

So happy to hear your having a better day:flwrysmile:

Flowers make me happy too! It's nice to hear you ordered the Paper Whites. Pretty!
Something to look forward to also. Dreary November coming and it always feels like a reality slap of what's to come. It gets cold, gray skies most days, less daylight, bare trees and no more flowers in the ground, gardens or in pots on people's walkways, porches or steps. :bawl: Boo-hoo!

But we'll have Thanksgiving soon with those we love, all of the prep and activity leading up to Christmas and New Years Eve. Then comes 2019, it will be a new year and a new you! :happydance:
Oh the plans you'll make and the fun you'll have :yay: Good times coming @lovesstars just have to hang on....
