I enjoy the camaraderie here with all the fellow members & any help I can give to someone just beginning this journey is my pleasure.
Particularly for anyone who ends up with a replacement due to an accident and not planning on having one. I was totally in the dark but this group directed me to the light.

Just a thought, absolutely no pressure, but wondering if you'd consider adding something to your thread title that indicates your THR was the result of a fall? There may be members in the future that search for experiences such as yours, Sandy, that will benefit from all you've shared here.

Facing surgery / recovery after a traumatic injury can differ from a planned replacement emotionally in a way in which only members such as yourself may understand. The majority here associate THR with arthritis, not trauma and I can't think of a better example of someone who took it all in stride and triumphed through adversity.

If you're down for the change, the thread title can be whatever you'd like...following are a couple examples.
