Revised PKR to TKR Patellofemoral PKR with Ehlers Danlos hypermobility

What could cause the one-sided blanching of the knee?
I have rather mottled legs- particularly when weather cold. I notice that my PKR leg is still a bit more mottled and slightly purplish in the morning- even 2 years out.
I think small blood vessels are cut and it affects the circulation?? But that is just my theory

Still pending a date for my foot surgery but did find out I will be non-weight bearing for at least four weeks. Will be interesting to see how this impacts my knee.

I have a date! March 5. The surgeon is actually going to do two surgeries because there are extensive repairs in several areas and he didn’t want me under anesthesia that long, plus it would take longer to heal if he did everything at once.

Haven’t posted in awhile as I recover from the foot surgery. Have noticed that my right knee, which is now 11 months post op, recently feels rather tight on the lateral side and more sore than before. My right ankle is also very unhappy—on the lateral side. Wonder if there is a connection-peroneal nerve?! My right side has had to take the load while my left foot has been non weight bearing. Still in the boot and using crutches, though I can finally put some weight on it.

When I broke my foot/ankle and was non-weight bearing, my opposite knee gave me a fit after a week or so. I was non-weight bearing for 6 weeks. After that, I was allowed to put my foot down to steady myself while standing, though not walking on it yet. Just that little bit of pressure off the opposite knee helped it. You should find that to be true for you, too.
