@Josephine … I'm 5 weeks post op now, I feel fair. Not great and not horrible, it will take time that I know for sure. I have a question for you @josephine…. I have a pocket of fluid between the size of a baseball and softball. It feels like a water balloon to the touch. I have a lot of pressure from it, anyway it feels like pressure. Do you know if this sort of thing will resolve itself. My Doc doesn't really want to aspirate it because he feels it would subject me to possible infection. I'm ok with it in a way, but I'm also concerned because it's so much fluid. I can send you a photo privately if you'd like, maybe seeing it may help you a bit.

There's a small bump at the bottom of the incision and one at the top, kind of feels like a knot. Both are sore to touch but not horrible. I'm not running a fever, and the area isn't burning up hot either, kind of normal post op warmth feeling, I've felt that after every surgery so I feel like the warmth is normal healing. Please let me know your thoughts, can something like a pocket of fluid just go away on it's own, could it turn into an infection if it's not aspirated, I'm a little concerned but not overly panicked out about it.

Your tag didn't work - you can see it's not turned blue. You added a full stop too close to my name which voided it. Do watch for that. Plus I've been struggling with health problems the last few weeks so not been around as much as usual.

It would mightily help to know where this pocket is! Can't really comment otherwise!

Could well be. If someone added an extra throw or two into the knots, the fibre can take many weeks to dissolve.

@Josephine

Kind of strange the tag is blue from what I see, no problem though. I hope your feeling better with whatever is going on with your health.

I'm almost 7 weeks out now, wasn't sure I had to look at the calendar (this might be a good indication as to how well I'm hopefully healing). I'm feeling some clunking and grinding, I have no idea why or what is causing it. However since I'm still what my OS considers freshly post op with this being the 7th, so will see how it all is in a few more months.

Hope all are doing well and healing!

Yes, we are all sorry you are going through so much and each one of us could be you today or tomorrow. Just remember, all of us here whether we heal in a month or never, have these implants all in common with you and each other. Therefore, we can relate even if it is only in a very miniscule way. There is positive energy flowing your way by the hundreds, please believe in that.
