@Josephine
One is GR5B and two is AR4B and 5B and today I could not even walk to the car with out severe pain. My thigh is so sore and week. I feel like my legs are going to give out on me. Thank you Tina

Thank you. So your pains are here?

I note you also said
My rheumatoid arthritis is out of control, my right hip muscles still hurt daily, lower back pain
When it snaps or pops I feel pain to my toes.
So with this in mind, I would suggest that the green area is might be the sacro-iliac joints but more likely is that is connected to this next thing ....
The blue area I think is sciatica. As you can see from this third image, there is a point where the nerve runs under the long head of the biceps femoris. If this is inflamed and painful (in the blue circle), then it is likely to be in spasm as well so it will press on the sciatic nerve causing pain - what doctor's often refer to as a 'trapped nerve' or 'nerve impingement'.

For both these, you need deep massage and stretches, therefore chiropractic treatment would be my recommendation.

Thank you. I will look into seeing my hubby's chiropractor. Today I was having what I can only explain as nerve like jolts from my lower back up to my neck. It hurt to breath, my feet felt like I could not pick them up. My thighs felt very weak.

I think that's all spine issues which a chiro will sort out for you. But don't expect miracles. You've had this problem a canny while so he's not going to be able to fix you in three or four sessions and you might even ache more after the first session or two but that will only be temporary.

I just heard from my Rheumatologist and he wants me to see my primary to have xrays done to rule out a compression fracture. My primary is out until Tuesday. So I have to wait I guess. If it gets worse to the ER I go. Today I cant even put the laundry away.

Hi everyone. I have not post in a while. My right hip was replaced December 2, 2014. I have had to restart therapy last week because of the hip surgery my right leg is longer and my SI, L4-L5 joints are stuck and not moving. Oh and my pelvis is crooked. I'm not able to walk or stand more than 2 minutes with out excruciating pain. Praying PT works.

Hi all. I have been doing physical therapy with manipulation with an Ortho and Spine PT specialist. I have 3 more visits and I am being referred to a neurosurgeon for an evaluation on my back. My hands and feet have constant pins and needles. I still can't walk more than 2 minutes without extreme back pain. I have to use a Cain and SI belt. Good news is my 7 month old hip is great. I never had back pain or issues until the hip replacement surgery was done.

Hi @tandmcox88,

I am so sorryto hear that you are still having issues post THR; I hope the neurosurgeon is able to shed some light on the problem and fix it soon! Glad the hip is doing great!

Hi everyone, it has been a while since my last update. I am almost 1 year from my right hip replacement. December 2nd. I have to say having alot less hip pain actually no hip pain at all. I am still having L5-S1 issues, bulging disk issues, and RA issues. My question and issue now is nerve damage. What issues or symptoms are you having (if anyone is) with nerves in the operated leg? Pins, needles and numbness are a continuous constant for me. Sitting, standing, and laying down. Any suggestions? Thank you all.

If you are having L5-SI and disk issue the pins and needles and numbness could be caused by this. I have major spinal issues and constantly have these symptoms. Are you seeing a back specialist?

I have seen a neurosurgeon, but he says not much. I'm going for a second opinion as soon as I can get a referral. Thank you.

You might want to try an orthopaedic surgeon with spinal specialty. Please keep us updated.

Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't updated lately. I am still here, in alot of pain, having major nerve issues everywhere including the right leg that had the hip replacement. Many time a day when I get up I feel a pop in my leg and immediately have a rush of pins and needles travel to my toes. Very painful in the location of the feeling of the pop. I'm still trying to get my back and RA under control. I hope you all are doing well. I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season and Happy New Year.
