Malware Warnings all cured now! Yayyy!

I have merged these two threads. But please don't make threads with such alarmist titles.
It's unnecessary and likely to drive members away for no good reason.

I am using my chromebook right now and this seems to be OK. My main computer is Norton protected. It indicates I'm protected, updates complete but still brings up a warning for the site. It says "Dangerous website blocked". I called Norton/Symantec but they weren't very helpful, said to contact the website directly to report the problem. It happens on Chrome and MSN browers.

I'm not techy, my husband may understand more when he gets home but doesn't want me using the main computer...

Norton is telling me it's blocking an attack in Chrome, Firefox, and the MS browser. Chrome and Firefox are updated, as is Norton.

Additionally I can't reply to any threads, this edit is from Tapatalk.

@nudaii It just popped up for me---"phishing scam", or an "Attack site."

It is funny---it popped up on my desktop but not my laptop.

Why would it be blocked on one, but not the other?

I updated Java on the desktop and did the same on my laptop. So far only the desktop is blocked.

@nudaii I just got the popup warning. I am using Safari. I am afraid we are going to lose many members due to this.

Thank you! My reply box returned too. :)

A brief update everyone.

Sometime in the last 24 hours a new type of malware began spreading over the internet, we unfortunately were one of the sites which were affected by it, as of right now no one is exactly sure how or who started the malware, as most sites like us are busy cleaning up their own sites etc.

as of right now our site is showing up as clean from a serverside check, however until norton security updates their infected blacklist to list us as clean people will still get the notice refered to in the first posts of the thread., we have contacted Norton to remove the blacklist mark.

Yes thank you @nudaii - good news! Looks like it's cured. :yay:
We're all bothered about ANY type of infection here! I was more concerned that others would be affected and get bad stuff on their software which would also prevent them from accessing BS again. It is such a lifeline.
I've not had any recurrance and I just stopped short of pouring Dettol down the back of my PC .... :banghead:

@nudaii Thank you very, very much!!

It was blocked on my desktop---it was either a "phishing scam" or an "attack site."

I cannot figure out why it was blocked on my desktop but not my laptop.

Any ideas why this might occur?

Norton has not cleared this from our desk top computer but I'll keep a watch on it and will let you know when it's cleared. I will continue to access Bonesmart through my chromebook just to play it safe.

I had this warning yesterday using firefox and Kaspersky antivirus. It seems all fine now.

I received this from my updated chrome browser with norton AV every time i visit the website.
