Update at 6.5 weeks. I went to PT on Tuesday, my second appointment since surgery. PT said I'm doing fine on my own and he doesn't need to see me anymore unless I have any concerns/issues. Of course he encouraged me to continue doing all of the exercises he prescribed before.... I do them occasionally, mostly stretching the knees while I go up the stairs (pausing for deep stretch on each stair), I ride my recumbent bike, walk the dog 30-40 mins when there's not too much ice, etc. But I listen to my knee and if it gets swollen/hurts, I take it easy for a couple of days.
My bend was 110, but I was a bit swollen from a bit too much activity the day before, so I'm assuming that it could be better than 110. Second follow-up appointment with surgeon is this afternoon, hopefully all will be well and I can continue on with a relatively smooth recovery.
I still have stiff/swollen days, and nights where my legs are uncomfortable and it's hard to find a good position to sleep in. I can't sit with my leg bent or stand for too long before I have to change position or sit with my legs elevated. I haven't quite gotten to the point that I'm not thinking about my knees almost all of the time, but I feel like I'm getting better. Just slowly of course.
I'm really hoping for a surgery-free 2022!
