Haha! The magic of herbal medicine my good friend.. Needless to say, today is rest day.. Movies and nano naps.. But I have a lovely clean house and all the washing is done ready for the working week... See what you have to look forward to :) zauberflöte.. Maybe not the working, can't remember if you are still working!

Hi Mamarey I hope your OS appointment went well. I'm glad you were able to get in to see him. I wonder what he said about the groin pain? Nothing too bad, I hope. How are you feeling? It is strange that you can do other types of exercise without pain, but walking hurts so much. I wonder if it's the weight bearing part of it? I'll be curious to know what the doctor said.
How is your ex-husband doing? You've got a lot going on right now. Good luck with all of it, and keep us posted, OK? Thinking about you and hoping things are going to smooth out soon.

Funny how walking causes the greatest pain. I rode 23 miles in 55 minutes at the gym on Wed., and 15 on Mon., which included random hills throughout the whole time. I have the normal sensation in the legs that is always there after a long ride, but I did not have pain, and the elliptical, which I stay on for an hour does not cause pain, yet I cannot walk more than a quarter of a mile, and I get really tight and pain in the groin.

Maybe alexthecat would be able to speak to how differently your body seems to respond to the amazing amount of exercise that you can do on the bike and elliptical machine, yet the pain and difficulty you experience in walking a short distance.

I hope your appointment went well and that you were able to get more insight into the groin issues that you are experiencing.

Take care,
Cardie

Hi Mamarey How's everything going for you? I hope you're doing well.
I read your post to TennisNut asking her about her TENS machine. I wanted to tell you that I researched her specific machine, the CMS3000 and CMS7000 by going on their website and calling the company. I found out that it needs to be prescribed by a provider and often a person's insurance company will cover some or all of it. They gave me a list of providers in my area who use it, and sell it. I went to one, a chiropractor, and said I just wanted a TENS machine, no treatment. He was very agreeable, and I got one the same day. They checked my insurance and they covered part of it, and now the company will send any needed supplies to my house every 3 months. It seems like a very good company.
I really like it, too. It's helped my groin pain quite a bit, so that I can actually be on my feet more. I would recommend it if you're still looking for one. I think the company information is on TennisNut's thread.
Good luck Mamarey! Send me a post if you need to. :)
