THR Knee pain and numbness from knee down

Hi all I can totally come in on the frustration of not being as active as before surgery. I am nearly 2 years from my hip pinning and rod inserted and still walking with a limp. Still having trouble with my knee buckling under me and weakness in the quad muscle, I didn't have any physio until after 11 months because of covid so my muscles were practically none existant. Had 6 months of physio now to be told there is nothing more can be done just keep doing exercises it is probably nerve damage or ligament damage, after being so active doing various activities before my fall to now is such a shock. Never mind chin up for better days

I hear you about the limp! I’m nearly 8 months post THR, anterior approach and I still limp! Countless X-rays, mri, pt, chiro ect. My pain is in my knee and shin, pretty sure sciatic nerve is being pinched and causing this. Chiro seems to help a bit, I walked fine pre surgery, just wanted my flexibility back. All I can say that my posture must of been really bad pre surgery. My si joint has little movement, probably is what causing me to limp along with pinched nerve. It’s extremely hard to try and deal with pain and limping and go back to work full time.

Best of luck with your healing!
