TKR Joe’s Recovery Jourknee

I went through that once or twice - making good progress but forgetting to take a day or two off after achieving a new distance or time milestone, and needing to retrieve the Lounge Doctor and ice pack. At six months you do still need to baby it when it complains!

(I have done several 3 mile walks in the past four months and my goal is 5 miles by year end!)

Thanks Mendo.. One of my biggest takeaways from reading through the experiences of others here is that most recoveries seem to be long and fraught with setbacks, disappointments and with halting and discouraging progress which is rarely linear. But the majority of the time, over time, good results are eventually achieved.
Just got to stay patient and keep the faith.

Exactly! Realizing this early on helps us have realistic expectations. Slow, steady, easy will get you there.
Best Wishes!
