Hip Infection* Izabel, Walking on Sunshine

@Izabel have read your thread and you are amazing with all you have encountered. I had plantar fasciitis as well and short of an injection my os recommended Birkenstock’s. I even slept in them and wore them to teach and even wore them to church. They are not pretty and they are expensive but for two years I had a date with them. No problems since knock on wood. Best of luck to you.

Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday!! @Izabel So sorry you have planter fascist. I got it last year in my good foot while recovering from broken hip. Still there unfortunately, but few things help a lot, frozen bottle is great for rolling and icing is good too. I have Super Feet inserts in all my lace up shoes. Never go barefoot, which is bummer. I am a southern gal and don’t like shoes! But, that one is key. Your heal needs support while the inflammation goes down. Stretching calf muscles daily also very important. Before my break yoga and Pilates kept me pain free. I also have read a balanced B multi vitamin can help. Hope you find relief. It’s a real bummer to loose pain one place a get it somewhere else. ❤️

Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary!!! and of course congratulations on your first soak in the tub! That is really something to have your husband in the tub with you after 51 years :heehee:

Happy birthday and happy anniversary! You are having to put up with a lot, I hope you have some good celebrations even so.

@Izabel Happy Anniversary, hopefully a special meal when the dentisty problems are over fir you both. All these extra things do come to try you, but soon you will be in full pelt again. Hugsxx

I also have read a balanced B multi vitamin can help.

Supplementwise, (is that a word?) I am on Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc, B Complex, D3,, K2, B12 and a Probiotic. :thud: I don't like shoes either having lived in Alabama for 14 years and I don't drive with them on either, albeit illegal here, but I have a pair by my feet!

That is really something to have your husband in the tub with you after 51 years :heehee:

He wasn't IN the tub with me ... we both wouldn't fit! However, he was nearby, just in case!:friends:

Celebrated with a couple of G&Ts and a Pisang Ambon (banana liquer). :martini:

Happy (Belated) Birthday and Anniversary, sweet Izabel!
Sorry I'm just catching up. Nice to hear you celebrated your special day.
I wish you only the best news at your appts in May and June so you're able to move forward in peace and good health.
Sending love and a warm hug your way! :loveshwr::friends:

Yesterday's dental procedure over ... one hour of 'deep cleaning' so gums slightly sore this morning. Obviously didn't take the discolouration away because that is inside the teeth. Besides discolouration she said the medications mess up the saliva so it doesn't do it's job properly. Next visit on the 20th is to Dental Surgeon to remove roots of the molar teeth that have broken off!

Foot seems to be easing up slightly. Progress yesterday was that I was able to get leg in and out of car over the sill on its own! :yahoo:

Having internet problems so provider coming this morning to sort things out, although they appear to be working on it remotely at the moment. Technology ... :sos:

Have a great day everyone.

PS The bonus is that I now weigh 132lbs, that's a gain of 20lbs, so now want to stay at that. I now have shapely legs and a butt again! :heehee:

Great for getting that leg to cooperate and get in the car, and for the weight gain!
Now I won't worry about you blowing away in a strong wind!:)

Hope your day is great too!

Ouch on the dentistry!! Not the best outing.
Glad your leg is moving more & things are improving for you @Izabel xx

Well, I hope you and your shapely legs and butt have an awesome day! It's good you gained the weight you desired. I envision you as a tiny, petite woman, with a big heart as you're always so supportive of others through your own trials. Happy to hear you're knocking down the dental appts.
I hope you have a lovely weekend, Izabel. Big hugs :friends: :loveshwr:

Yes, I thought the wedge a little OTT ... sure couldn't cross my legs with that! :flabber: Ah, the sexy stockings! Yes, I seem to disappear from the waist down. That white 'drape' under my hand is my pillowcase with my ice. This must be two days after op as I still have the spinal pain thingy stuck to me.

@Carriemay60, I was losing my hair by handfuls a day (amongst other things) being on Anastrozel (Arimidex) but voluntarily stopped it in September 2017 and my hair went back to its normality, thankfully.

That mane of yours is unbelievable. Gorgeous! And you are teeny, tiny as I thought.
So nice to put a face with your name, dear Izabel.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend! :friends:
@Izabel

Happy belated birthday and anniversary. Your year sounds similar to mine a few years ago. I fixed the left side of my body in 2015 and the right side in 2016.
