Noanie, if you look at my thread you will see I have struggled with this very issue from the beginning. I am much further along in my dual recovery and I STILL am not able to sleep on my side. I have done everything I can think of, even buying a new adjustable bed. I have slept with a pillow between my legs, without a pillow, with a knee wedge and without a knee wedge. I still find myself trying the bed every few nights and then giving up and going out to the recliner after a few restless hours. I say this not to discourage you but to let you know you are not alone and many, many of us have sleep issues for quite a while. I think you should try any position that helps you get a good night’s sleep because restorative sleep is key to feeling better during the day. So give FourCats’ suggestion a try. Hang in there! It’s bound to get better.
