Hi Deb - just had to come check on you, and sorry it's been so long since I was here at BS. As you guessed, I was busy taking care of my daughter, taking her to the pool in the long weeks leading up to Hudson's birth, and then finally the long days at the hospital, she had a complicated birth, it was very scary but now all are happy and over joyed, it is just so much fun to have that little bundle of joy to hold and love on, as you know.
I see you have one good knee and one that's giving you a little trouble, just like me. I guess that's the way it goes for some of us, and I can't help but feel grateful to have had both done at the same time, because I would have started with the left, and not sure I would have been interesting in another TKR after that experience. But I am understanding more and more of what's going on in there, this morning, I've been massaging it a bit, and feel some loosening of sorts, I can feel little lumps along the incision line, one right on top of the knee, and will force my OS to touch that today and tell me what that is. I'm guessing scar tissue, and possible leftover from the old Arthro I had in 2005. I am more hopeful now that i can break it up eventually, with work. I'm going to get a massage, and let the therapist do some gentle massage around the knee, might even call Jennifer and see if she would do it. Will have to pay for it myself, but don't mind if it helps.
Wishing you all the best, let me know how things are going, and please take it easy, in the end, I do think it's when we overdo, that problems arise, and I have to admit, I have not had much time to elevate and ice in the past few weeks, was just running and doing, and while it's good exercise for the knees, it's just too much for this type of recovery.
Be good, you!!
