@Gretel . Did I tell you I was so worried when they said I had to go home? I cried and cried. Sweet older nurse's aid finally came by as I had dropped something on floor for the thousandth time I couldn't reach...as I was melting down...she said "baby, you are going to feel so much more comfy when you get home. I know you are scared but you will do fine"
I reluctantly relented, as I was begging them to call my OS and say I was too infirmed to go home with little help.
Hope the rehab is what you need to to help you through.
I'm guessing it would be what we call a swing bed situation in US.
Just little concerned about amount of PT they expect. I went to PT twice the first week outpatient and dropped it for first month. As BS philosophy reiterates endlessly, only PT necessary is walking and easy on that first weeks.
Hoping you are managing pain better.
