Man oh man, bummer. You were sailing right along too. Hope whatever it is it is short lived, Cathy

Have you been doing anything dramatically different Donny?

Blimey mate ....SNAP! as you say, what the hell (see my post from today, back at square one))

Well all has been well and doing all the same stuff but now it seems later in the day sometimes my thigh aches a bit. If I take another Etoladac it feels better but the doctor told me to cut back a few weeks ago so I'm only taking one a day???? Is this some in the healing process? Most of the time it feels good.

Other that I'm back!!!! I have my life back I can do things like Vegas, Knotts berry farm, even went to Disneyland with my 26 year old kids. LOL!!

Work is good to I can climb 2 story buildings and keep up on job walks. I'm still going to the gym and keeping my weight off and walking a mile every night after dinner and the best part SLEEPING ALL NIGHT!!!

I will see what happens later with this slight pain

Donnie,

Great to hear from you. Sorry about the pain but as I look at your surgery date I see you are about 4.5 months out and that is not a long time with this recovery. And you are doing a lot, that is awesome and it may just be another level of healing. Don't know the med you are taking but Jo has a "cocktail" she talks about here on the forum and I will try and tag her and see what she thinks. Josephine.

In the mean time try elevate, ice, rest, you know! Take care.

Well, you're doing well but you are also doing LOTS! do you see any connection between this

and this

Etoladac is an NSAID which is a mild analgesic and NSAIDs are also notorious for being hard on the stomach and occasionally, even the kidneys, so that could be why your doctor has urged you to reduce their use. You could try Tylenol 1,000mg 2-4 times a day. Tylenol is a slightly stronger analgesic so you should find it more effective.

But basically, I would suggest you cut back on your activity a bit, maybe a little less gym (thought depends what you are doing there) or shorter after dinner walks. Remember, pain is your body's way of telling you to slow down!
