Well, I took out my ODIC card for a spin and then paid with ice and elevation!
3 month post op went really well. Surgeon said I looked so much better than at 6 weeks, I was pretty much out of it on Tramadol then, still using a crutch and for some reason probably drug related, was finding coping with anything, really very difficult and panic inducing.
Anyway, good progress

, measured Extension 0, ROM 120, without any pushing. We had a good chat about various things....he's never over busy, I'm usually early and I went in about 3/4 hour early, he gives you as much time as you need. He suggested prophylactic antibiotics prior to my dental work as the knee is so new, I'm happy about that as I know from experience taking out a big broken filling sometimes reveals nasties.
I was yesterday a bit sad to realise my ROM will probably never be much better than it is now....120-125ish as that is the movement range of my prosthesis....0-130, but hey ho it's OK and the operation has gone well. There is some swelling I hope will go down, I'm to take Celebrex again in a while if it doesn't subside. I go again in November for my 6 month check up, he'll see me up to a year and I can phone the hospital at any time with concerns. I feel very fortunate.
Felt so good, we called into Countrywide and bought a wooden bench seat for the garden, on offer, then Snugbury's (farm shop) for an icecream; that was all so good we went to town for a pub lunch today.....ODIC card now hidden!!
That's all for now folks.
