referee54, I certainly agree... when I first joined Bonesmart, I thought I was alone in my pain misery, but here I also discovered that others have had the same struggles. In my case, from talking with other people who have gone to the same ortho clinic, it sounds like the docs there are great surgeons, but they really don't want to have to deal with the people side of the equation! Just the bones, muscles, medical stuff. And they've not hired a patient advocate or support person, as some other clinics in this area have. So, the people equation, with pain, unexpected issues, emotional struggles, etc. isn't addressed, isn't dealt with, is avoided at each turn. The result is patients who are hurt, angry, frustrated and feel left adrift. I keep waiting for my survey from them to get here, but I just ran into another friend, a yoga teacher who had a TKR there a few months ahead on me, and she said she never got a survey! So, I guess they really don't want to know what they could improve! (Maybe kinda proves my point, I suppose...?) Maybe I'll create the survey they should send out, answer it, and send it in! Maye they'd like it and use it? At least, I'd have had my say!
