No sunshine today. A totally grey day here - maybe that's part of the problem!Maybe you could do some seated upper body work outside in any sunshine you may have.

Centuries!Seems like ages doesn't it?

It's funny you should bring up the temper. I remember throwing my crutch down many times post LTHR. Today I threw my cane and ended up laughing as it seems the impatience is rearing its ugly head already. I consider this part of the healing process. You want to move - quickly (or less awkwardly) but with a cane or crutch you just can't.

Well @Celle , I obviously can't walk .6miles without paying for it the next day. Not feeling as achy as I did yesterday so I guess the walk was too much. I will try a shorter one today.I am envious of you being able to walk 0.6 mile to the shop.
.... it was still a much longer stretched out healing. Knees are much more complicated I guess.... that darn bend it so important from day one!
United StatesYou make a very good point @Peaches . I am the type who is mega active to help cope with situations like the loss of my feline friend. That coupled with the normal frustrations of recovery is a double punch.Think about how usually we employ a flurry of physical activity--exercise for some; housework, gardening, etc. for others--to help pull us temporarily out of any funk we are feeling.
