Yay! Glad you made it! I had low BP issues until the second day after surgery. I almost fainted after trying to walk further than the bathroom on the first day after surgery. My blood pressure would drop whenever I got vertical. By the second day I was fine. Some of us just take longer to clear the anesthetic out of our systems.
Oh and the itching! I didn't have morphine, but those pressure stockings sure made my legs itch. Hated those things!
I had a guy with dementia in the room next to mine. Not only that but he was hard of hearing, so the nurses had to practically yell so he could hear them. Fun times. Thank goodness for doors that close and the white noise app on my phone.
I hope you are feeling less itchy and pukey soon! For ice in my hospital they just had plastic bags and an ice machine, like Vida's experience. Low tech, but effective!

I hope you feel better soon. I'm sure the nausea is also making everything seem even worse. :(
