2020 January Jackpots - Are you having knee surgery in January?

Hi, I will be having my left TKR on January 9. Injured this knee many years ago, had arthroscopy six years ago and now will have the surgery. Somewhat scared but it is time.
 
Wishing you the best.... I am scheduled for January 7 (if I do not chicken out). Tough decision for all of us. Let’s get well and stay active forever......
 
Hi, add me for left TKR on 1/27/20, with right in about another year.

I've had lots of joint surgeries (Spinal fusion [HASH=58]#1,[/HASH] age 24; #2 breaking first w/bone graft, titanium rods & screws, age 53; rt foot metatarsal, age 28; multiple hand joints reconstructions, rebrakes & fusions, age 59 and then 6 months later for immune reaction to ortho thread left in finger; cortisone shots and prednisone for years).

Still, really apprehensive about this one as I have lots of hypersensitivity & autoimmune issues. Worried about complications.

Hi, I'm getting both knees replaced on January 15. I'm new to blogs, so I hope I've posted correctly. Hoping to find support to help calm me down for the next 2 weeks.

I am back again. I had my right TKR 4/2015 and I will be having my left on Jan. 9th if all goes well. We changed insurance the first of the year and my Drs office says it should be fine but I haven’t heard from the new Ins. yet. I’ve needed my left done for a while but it was hard to commit to do it again but last summer the cortisone stopped working so here I am. I know in the long run it will be better and I look forward to being RECOVERED!!!

Hello! I’m having my right total knee replaced 1/15/20. Not gonna lie.. I’m scared to death! I’ve had multiple scopes done and an ACL repair but this one has me shaking!
 
I came across this site today when Googling 'how soon can I walk my dogs after TKR' - very informative and a little scary!
Op is scheduled for 13 January (at least it's not a Friday) - can I join the group please?

I hope your surgery went great!!! This summer is going to be a lot more fun with "new" knees.
