I'm scheduled for total right knee replacement on Nov 6. I had my total left knee replacement done on 11/6/16. Looking forward to getting this one done and putting this behind me!

LTKR scheduled for November 3rd. Many years ago had both a total patellectomy and lateral menisectomy so this knee has had it - looking forward to getting this done.

After phone call from hospital today my Right TKR has been brought forward originally 28th November now next Tuesday 7th November. Feel unprepared, unready. Now in complete panic that I don’t have what I need to go into hospital. Unsure of what footwear to take. Any recommendations please. Can’t believe it’s only 4 days away

Hi! I'm glad I found you! I am scheduled for TKR on Nov. 27th. I am very interested in reading the posts of other's experiences. I have had trouble with my knees forever resulting in many surgeries -lateral releases, a tibial transfer, etc. Not new to surgery, but anxious never-the-less. Thank you for being here!

So I just spoke to new consultants Secretary after previous problems with October op being cancelled due to possible nickel allergy....new date is 24th November for Right patellofemoral pkr, left one will be arranged at 6 week check up, depending on how things are.
