RTKR is scheduled for 18 October 2016.

This is my second total knee replacement - LTKR was 21 June 2016 and recovery went very well.

Oooh I am not that brave. Have my left total knee five or six years ago.

I am set up for Oct 12 for the left knee. TKR . it's time... the right will be next hopefully right after the first of the year. I wanted to do both at once... but think maybe this will be best. I am scared.

Hi Kathy 777. My surgery date is October 12 as well. I had the right knee replaced on 7 27 15, that recovery was relatively normal, other than me being hardheaded. I know that no two recoveries are the same. I wanted them done at the same time, but my surgeon doesn't do bilaterals. I'm so ready to have two pain free knees.

Since we are date twins, let's keep in touch. You will do just fine, please don't be scared. Don't forget that this is major surgery and it will take a long while before you feel better. Good luck. Lynn

Hi I am Rosey and I will have Right TKR on Oct 25! Left TKR a bit of time after! My question is has anyone opted for spinal anesthesia in place of general for their surgery?!

I'm still confused. I'm qwilter and the info is on my line. How does that apply to someone that follows me. I am qwilter and I am having surgery on Oct 18, 2016 and it my first TKR. Please advise as I'm confused as how my line entry applies to someone else. Thanks

Is TML another user name. If so then I understand and apology for the bother

I am having my left TKR on October 31st. Xrays showed bone on bone. My right TKR is doing great.
