hi catherine, glad to hear you are doing well. mowiing the lawn has always been something i enjoy but it had become such a chore with the old knee. its fun again is a weird kind of way. i must have gotten the "hit the golf ball long and straight knee" cuz i was crushing them. my wife will be dissappointed, i've been telling her i got the "wait till you see me on the dance floor" knee.

Alan, glad to hear you are doing well. I'm just past 25 weeks and your recovery sounds real similar to mine. I hate yard work, but will probably get more done this year than last.

Alan...great posts!!! But...maybe, just maybe....you got the dual-purpose great golfing and stellar dancing knee!!! Then both you and the wife are happy!!

Way to go Alan!

Things are going great and it is great to see your progress!

well i put thte knee to the test last weekend with 3 rounds of golf down in Atlanta.....all good. felt great. knee responded well to 3 days in a row of 18 holes of golf. Life is good. other than a little stiffness on the plane ride home no issues. hope everyone else is doing well.

Alan, so glad you're back in the "swing" of things...golf...dancing. amazing!! Have you golfed on the Robert Trent Jones coarses in Alabama? If not, check them out.
Congrats! :yay:

ha ha josephine good one. nice not having a handicap anymore.
sashayinglady - never golfed there but if i'm ever in Alabama i'll have to give it a go on some of his courses.

Good for you, Alan!!! You know some surgeons guarantee that their TKR will improve your golf game.....did yours?? :th_heehee:

so i said to my surgeon - hey doc after the knee replacement will i be able to play golf? he says sure. So i say, good cuz i couldn't play before.....ba da booom...:hysterical: (ok so comedy is not my game)
