Well I had both hips replaced in 2014 and a left knee replacement in 2015 and about to schedule my right knee replacement in March. It's been a journey I'm only 48 years old . I had to lose down from 60 pounds to 400 pounds to have my hips replaced then down to 300 to have my left knee replaced...
Yes your expecting to much to fast . I had my left knee replacement 8 months ago and it's still swollen some but I have gotten it to bend over 110 degrees in range of motion and it is getting better and better each day. I'm jogging on it now and due to have my right knee replacement on October...
I want to be in better health for the next surgery. I been having major surgery for the last 2 years. 4 major surgeries two hips replaced left knee replaced and a gastric fistula in my stomach removed. My heaviest was nearly 600 pounds. Got to 400 pounds to have hips replaced. Doc said...
I still have swelling and it's limiting my range of motion. But he told me it will get better and better. My extention is good very straight. I think I'm gonna start hitting the gym.

Hello everyone I'm 7 weeks out now and I walked about 2 miles today. Im walking without a cane up and down stairs. Not taking any pain medication anymore. Strengthening is getting better and my range of motion is 108-110. The only problem is the stiffness and soreness after about a 2 mile...
The best thing I ever did was get information on what I was eating. Ignorance was killing me. I been on diets all my life and was getting bigger and more depressed. What I learned is that processed food will kill you. I stop eating processed foods and reading the labels on what I was putting in...
Thanks for that. I don't know why I'm keep allowing my self to stress out over what he is saying. He never had a knee replacement nor joint replaced. Thanks for your personal testimony.

Well in therapy today my ROM was measured and it was 106 and I'm 5 weeks out. He said he could push me to get 118 today but it will hurt. I said I don't want to hurt by force. He said you only have 3 to 4 months to get the ROM or you loose it. So, I'm pushing myself to get it. On the other note...
That's awesome surgery buddy, after my in house therapy was over with for 4 weeks I then went to out patient therapy and was riding the bike and doing legs lifts and knee slides. I been doing my own therapy now and it seems to be get better and better. My ROM is coming but the knee gets stiff...

It can take a year or so? I thought we had a small time frame dealing with this knee scare tissue from the surgery? Also my hips are bothering me a little sense I had this knee replacement 5 weeks ago. I had both hips replaced last year. I wonder is it because everything is off balance? I have...
Well it's been 5 and a half weeks sense surgery and I'm walking well with a cane. The knee still gets stiff and the swelling has gone done a great deal but still gets swollen after a work out. I am bending with great ROM. Doing squats, and climbing stairs and doing the daily chores. My question...
