    TKR Cricket's Recovery Thread

This thread needs to be moved to the Recovery side if someone can do that for me, I'd sure appreciate it. Been trying to get back on here after surgery without much luck. Update: 10 days PO. May as well start back at the beginning. Day of surgery, had problems with my O2 sats. Put me on...

    Knee pain advice

The "hot match" thing hits me at night, and when it does, sleep is impossible...it's a pain like no other. I also have pain down the front of my shin just below the knee itself, so you sound pretty typical to me. I am now doing pre-op exercises, which usually helps the pain for a while...

    Bring It On....

I had a visit to check the status of my ICD today, and everything checks out great, so she forsees no problems with having the surgery on the 24th. She took the time to explain how a magnet is placed over the ICD to prevent defibrillator from being triggered during use of the electrocautery...

2017 January Jackpots - Are you having knee surgery in January?

I'm anxious to get there and have it over with! I'll also be having the right done, but no date for that yet. Have to see how the left does. I hope all goes well with everyone's surgery.

2017 January Jackpots - Are you having knee surgery in January?

Scheduled for LTKR on January 24th. Being a cardiac patient with triple bypass and pacemaker/defibrillator, I am pretty nervous about how I will do with this surgery.
