[Bonesmart.org] Welcome to the May Marvels' 2018 Knee Recovery Club
! As such, you have earned the honor of being a May Marvel and full-fledged member of the May Marvels' 2018 Knee Recovery Club.

Your membership allows you and encourages you to share your recovery journey with your fellow club members as well as all other members of the forum. (Please remember that the team club is primarily to allow you to see who has had surgery the same month as you. Discussion of issues, comments, and questions regarding recovery must be kept in your individual recovery threads.)

If you have not already started your own recovery thread, what are you waiting for----there’s no time like the present. We want to share your journey with you so please start a thread of your own in the proper forum.

To start a new thread, hover your mouse over "Knee" on the blue line at the top of the page for the drop down menu. Click on the "Recovery" forum.

On the upper right hand side under the "Joint Replacement Awareness Day" banner, you will see a black rectangle with the words "Post New Thread" in white.

Click on this, enter whatever title you want for your thread, but do try to keep it short and sweet, then tab down to the dialogue box and start typing your post which can be as long as you need for it to be.

By starting your own thread, you and your questions and concerns will receive the attention they deserve.

For additional help, look in the white heading under the blue, click on "Help & Info", then click on "How to Use This Forum". Lots of info there to help you navigate the forum.

We are here to help in any way we can and we look forward to following you down that winding recovery road because WE CARE!

Wow!! So much information in one day! I can’t believe how many things I’ve been doing wrong in my recovery AND so many things to stop worrying about. Thank you all. I need to go back and read the links before I ask any more questions. I’m still learning how to navigate this forum. I did find out that the BoneSmart app for IPad doesn’t work very well. I’m back on the web page and hope to get this posting thing right. Good night to everyone. I’ll be up every few hours and I bet some of you will be too.

Had my second TKR (last two years ago) on May 8th so I knew what to expect but it has been somewhat different and a slower recovery in some respects.

I'd like to join this forum. My surgery date was May 10 and my username is Sophia3. Also, how does this work in terms of asking questions and reading how people are doing with recovery? Thanks in advance.
