Think about sturdy legs/knees that don't give out!
Think about walking without favoring knees that don't support you.
When you think about the positives that will take place down the road, it helps get you through the surgery, the first few weeks post-op, and the rehab.
United StatesI am a teacher, too. I plan to have my BTKR Thanksgiving break and HOPE to be back for the 2nd semester.

I still have spells where I do too much and then feel poorly the next day. Obviously, if I'm teaching every day, I can't afford to have a "bad day"! I'm a little worried about it, but hoping and praying for the best.
United StatesI've been thinking about all those things.....and cleaning and prepping like a mad woman! We went and bought the most fabulous power recliner, a walker, etc. A friend f mine had lots of medical equipment that we borrowed. I have been trying to give away a pool table that nobody has played in a long, long time so we could set up a bed upstairs. Can't bribe anybody into taking it. Hubby is going to continue trying to donate it while I'm in the hospital.Just a few more days MsHeidi! I hope that the holiday weekend and activities will help keep your mind off the upcoming surgery. But, instead of thinking about the surgery, think further forward - to the time when you are on the road to recovery! Think about no more joint pain!Think about sturdy legs/knees that don't give out!
