THR THR GONE WRONG - 10 months and no diagnosis - need help

There may not be as many options for hips, but there is one very good company who has been providing ceramic implants for years - CeramTec. In fact, BoneSmart’s founder, Richard Warner, received two hip replacements with ceramic in 2005 when they were just in the approval stage for the US. He and his hips are still going strong. Many changes have taken place over the years, and if you have known allergies, I suggest you talk with a surgeon about this option.

Has anyone had a custom made ceramic coated femoral stem used in their hip replacement because of metal hypersensitivity? If so which doctor did you use? I think they may have to be specially approved by the FDA in the United States. Thank you.
