Shoulder arm hand and wrist pain..

Although Ive had xrays on my shoulder.. hands and wrist...four months ago no help for pain or movement has been offered by my doctor.... I dont know if I can ask for an operation..but nothing has been said about this....I had my hip op seven months ago.. after having to use my lifes savings for this... as it was getting too bad to suffer and the NHS waiting list was 18 months plus...I cant pay this £14000 + again.. and dont know if I will be able to have an operation..its to me as if ..just get on with it.. your older and its wear and tear.. and thats it.....

I'm sorry you are suffering with shoulder and arm pain, @mitchesmum. What did the xrays show? Did you receive a diagnosis of arthritis? Is this the same side as the hip?

How is your hip recovery going? Was it a total hip replacement or something else? If you give us the details of the surgery, date and which hip, we'll create a signature for your posts. That allows us to be more helpful with advice.
