OS made the incision and got it opened up the patella fell right out into his hand. So it wasn't attached to anything.

Surely you mean the plastic patellar button?

I really haven't had a chance to talk to my OS. He told my family about the damage that was caused from it being loose for so long. Yes the plastic patellar button.
