Hip Infection Second Hip Infection

:ok:So happy you got the stitches out and able to shower.
That is one amazing X-ray.
The things they can do!
I know the journey is still ongoing...but I really am wishing you all the best for Finally getting this all well.
Hope your weekend is Sweet!

@Antnee your journey reminds me of my own in that they couldn’t grow anything in cultures, yet an MRI highly suggested an infection and large amounts of pus were found inside my femur. Also was treated w vancomycin, daptomycin, Cipro, flagyl and Invanz over 6 week period. Would love to hear how you’re doing these days. It sounds like you had a rough road similar to mine and it would be good to hear where you are at.

I am now allowed 50% weight bearing with walker or crutches. I can go to a cane the second week of January and see the Doc again on 01/23. Last X-Ray still looked the same with possible healing of the fractures. Hopefully next time he will see some encouraging repair. I continue to insure a good diet and use my bone stimulator every day. Happy Holidays to everyone.

Thanks so much for the update! It's nice to hear from you.
Glad to read you're up to 50% weight bearing.
Prayers for good news on January 23rd.
I hope you have a nice holiday season and that 2019 brings you perfect healing.
