Revision after 6 months

Hi all....just got back from seeing my consultant, and I'm back on the waiting list for revision surgery after 6 months of the original op....seems bone hasn't fused to femoral stem.
I have to see consultant in 3 months time to discuss the op....
Bit disappointed but happy the bone scan showed increased uptake so there is a problem.
Hopefully it's just the stem that needs replacing.
So, another waiting game...

Glad you have a diagnosis, but sorry you have to wait 3 months just to discuss the revision. Wish things could happen faster for you!

At least you have peace of mind knowing that you have an issue and it is confirmed. Hope you can be as comfortable as possible till the revision!
