Re: doing better

Hi, Julie.
Therapy shouldn't really hurt, what are you doing ?
What's the ROM now?

Julie, I've put your post onto your original thread - just for continuity. It helps us when we're talking to you, okay?

And I echo Tykey's questions!

Also...Julie, if you would please put your surgery date in your signature, it would help SO MUCH for all of us who want to respond. Here is a link for instructions on doing that.

Julie - I had terrible with my pain meds and it took me 2.5 weeks to figure that out because I was in such a post op state. Hopefully by now you have gotten them straightened out. I had never had a real issue with pain meds before nor had I had surgery of this magnitude although I've had my share of surgery and my share of pain meds. The right meds make all the difference and so does picking up on the advice of those who have been there and done that and finding what works for you.

I'm 4 wks LTRK and doing great - my calf doesn't hurt as much but my thigh muscles are always sore and the ligaments and tendons down near my ankle are sore. I do a lot of self massage in addition to the ice, elevate, rest and medicate.
