Weird @FlaGranny , tagging a forum member has nothing to do with DNS, which stands for domain name system, and is like the internet phonebook that translates domain names (whatever.com) into an IP address so the internet can handle the routing to get you to the web address you request.

Tagging on a forum just looks at the member data base

Ok, sorry if that's tmi hehe just the tech geek in me

I know I'm not doing it right. I clicked the "link" button and then typed it in. Perhaps that is not the right way, but I've looked and looked and can't figure out another way.:flabber:

@FlaGranny no need to hit any button. Just type an @ sign , then start typing the user name. It should show you matches to the name below where you type. You can keep typing the name or just click on the name in the list that appears. Thats it. No need to click any link button or anything else.

Here is a screen capture of what you see tagging someone in a post:
This is what you see

Then your screen will look like this to keep typing your post:

@dianehelen thank you so much. So easy to do but hard to figure out when you've never done it before. Success at last.:happydance:

@greatlakes
It sounds like you are very organised! The most indispensable item I got for after the surgery was a bench which fits across the bath so I can have a shower sitting down. It's easy to get on and off and I will be using it for several months to come. Obviously if you have a walk in shower you will just need some kind of seat.
Good luck!

I am about 90 lbs overweight and just had a total hip replacement. I am approaching week 2 and feel pretty good but tired right now. I did as much exercise as possible at my disability level and weight before I went it. I was very prepared as you seem to be. I had just lost 40 lbs and eat very well with fruits and vegetables and protein and healthy stuff. I believe that has helped immensely with healing my wound so effectively and getting me through this. Good luck to you. Your pain will disappear almost immediately (still have surgery site pain but don't take any pain anything anymore).

Greatlakes,
I just wanted to say good luck with your TKR. I am obese and I'm 39, but my OS is willing to do my surgery because my knees are so bad. I was a "candidate" when I was 19, but obviously....I'm sure this will help you feel better so you can be more active!
