Hi @hiphoser Wee Scottish friend probably talking rubbish but difficult to argue with him after he has had a few drams. The transition thing seems very sensible, let's say we both try it and get our recoveries done and dusted. Yes?
Waving to you from here but very gently, don't want to pull anything!!

Dean. :bored:

Hope you have a restful healing weekend Dean so you can leave ODIC soon.
My upper, lower back and shoulders are complaining loudly about crutches back sleeping and sitting more !
Cannot win really but bad weather and freezing rain today up North so time to hunker down and meds aid naps :sleeep:

Hi @Cathippy Weather forecast here doom and gloom as well so will be giving myself a rubbish haircut followed by gently sitting on bathboard thingy for a shower. Never heard about ODIC until we got here. When I left the surgeons 6 week thingy last week, I asked should I continue using crutch or ditch it. He said as I was walking okay ditch it but keep doing the exercises. I have only been doing the very gentle ones and walking and bang. Sorry to hear about your other achy bits, crutches and back sleeping but maybe a weekend going gently may help. its frustrating, boring but was probably a whole lot worse before op.

Dean :bored:

I am going to try the walking on flat surfaces with arms raised for strengthening core muscles. Not for too long though.

Horrible rainy day here again. At least it has stopped the incessant pile driving from the building site near us...

Hey @SurreyGirl
Wanted to ask how you are post grad and I am a junior whilst @Jamesdean is a senior !
Might try those exercises myself and at least I am not hung over from xmas work do with xmas shopping to do in busy shops today. BAH HUMBUG !!
