Hope all goes well for you tomorrow @faster pussycat There are plenty of us here just waiting to hear from you (but in your own time!) we know the first first days can be weird/good/bad/painful/sleepy and all the rest. Sending lots of positive thoughts to you. Take care.
Surgery will be behind you soon @fasterpussycat
You'll be in recovery before you know it and we'll be there to welcome you to
the good side
You've done this before...and you'll do it again.
Wishing you comfort, peace of mind and a little sleep before tomorrow.
Hi @faster pussycat, I hope you have managed some sleep. I am sure you will enjoy the difference between an NHS and a private hospital, especially not having to cope with everything going on around you. I had a stay in an NHS hospital when I was 40 and everyone else in the vicinity was over 80 and hope to never repeat the experience!
I hope all goes well and look forward to seeing you on the recovery side.
Hi @Layla surgey went well thanks, hopefully home today. Had an old school friend visit me yesterday which was nice Just the usual to get over now - tired, stiff, a bit sore, constipated Onwards and upwards though !
@faster pussycat, let me suggest that you go the the hip replacement recovery forum and start your recovery thread now that you have reached the other side of surgery.
We like our members to keep recovery posts all in a single thread. That way it's easy for us to go back and read your history before responding to a question or concern. In addition, the thread becomes a journal of your recovery for those who come along later and want to read about you. So, please post in your new recovery thread from now on when you want to give an update or ask a question. If you have questions or concerns that need an immediate answer, please tag an admin, a mod, or other members or all three.
Hey @fasterpussycat
Wondering how you've been doing since surgery.
Consider starting a new thread in the Hip Replacement Recovery Area.
We'd love to hear about your progress and support you along the way.
Hope you're doing well
