Oooh, @kattyaz that makes me nervous for you! That is a lot of activity for only 10 days post op.
Many complain about riding in the car after surgery. I was one. Length of time in the car is usually not too
comfortable for most. I'd hate to see you an hour into the trip and shifting around in misery. Wondering how you'll withstand the duration.
Also, I don't know how you'll feel after a four hour car ride. Possibly tense, sore, tired and not too great of company for your friends. Isn't that a race track.....crowded with people? If so, I'd be worried about people bumping into me. You may go and all will be well but I'd give this some serious consideration.

I had my second(and last) PT appointment (PT said I did not have to come back). PT did recommend I continue the standing hip exercises to strengthen the muscles, and in 3 weeks start on the harder lying down exercise. I tried to do a clamshell and it was a no go
so I know I need to work on muscle strength.
