I would like to maybe start a journel, charting where I was, where I am and the future when I finally get a THR and beyond into recovery. Some forums allow these, can I do that here?

Re: Journels?

Of course you can!! Many of our members journal by day or week in their recovery thread. It's what we really HOPE people do. These chronicles are frequently read by people before their surgery so they know what they might expect. So....go for it!!

If I'm going to do this, is there a proper place to do it? I wouldn't want to spam up the wrong part of the forum - I have rather a lot to write when I get the chance to do it.

Some forums do have a specific journel area - is there one here?

We don't have a special journal area. You can just start a recovery thread of your own in the post-op forum and go from there. If your posts are especially long, be sure to put in good paragraph breaks so that it's easier to read. You might also want to consider using some paragraph headers with either a date or some topical information to also help break up large blocks of text. Feel free to use colors, bold, italic, underline and all the other tools available on the forum.
