TKR iCanDoThis Recovery Thread

I’m 10 weeks out from left TKR. Today for the first time I’m experiencing a repeated sharp pain on the front of my shin just below the knee. It feels as though someone is sticking a needle in there (in the same exact spot over and over) and it comes and then disappears just as quick. It’s not constant, it seems to happen a half dozen times and then subsides and then happens again for a few times and so on and so forth. Since I haven’t experienced this in my recovery to date, it’s concerning me. Maybe this is the “zingers” I’ve read about here in the forum?

Yep, I bet that's what is happening to your knee. Those things hurt! Thank God they are quick.
